Why Choose CCL?
CCL offer state of the art technology from the world’s leading manufacturers of mobile DVR’s including Dedicated Micros, HikVision and Timespace.
The DS8000 range of DVR’s use the H.264 algorithm, currently the broadcast standard for video sent over a network, as used by the BBC and Sky. Within the security industry H.264 is the format used by the high-end ultra new design recorders.
Our latest range of DS8000 recorders use a proprietary format designed by the manufacturer HikVision called D-CIF. This has been optimized by HikVision and will give
- less artifacting,
- smaller file sizes
- sharper images than many 4CIF recorders.
Our recorder will also record all channels at 25 frames per second in all resolutions.
The DS8000 range is primarily designed to not only record but to stream video footage over a network, be it wired or wireless.
The ultra compact size of the H.264 file allows easy network transmission and the recorder’s individual file for each channel (non-multiplexed) means that individual cameras’ footage can be sent instead of all camera footage. The recorder can stream live footage at a different resolution and image size than that recorded.
Since 2003, CCL has worked closely with our technology partners HikVision to deliver a system that has improved year upon year. HikVision’s business has grown with the quality of their products and as of Spring 2009 the company is now the largest supplier of DVR’s in the world. CCL has supplied a product since 2003 that its competitors are only now able to compete with on frame rate, quality of compressed recorded images and storage options. With CCL’s post installation support these products will provide many years of easily accessible and stored high quality images.
Other options include;
- Real- time transmission of CCTV images over 3g
- Solid State back up of video data
- WILAR – providing instant notification of system faults over GSM
