NEXT GENERATION – FOUR TIMES THE INDUSTRY STANDARD
The DS8000 DVR range is the next generation in CCTV technology for vehicles of all types such as buses, trams, HGV, emergency vehicles, vans and taxis.
Available in 4, 8, 12 & 16 channels with a choice in hard disk size up to 2Tb the recorder offers real time recording at 25 frames per second on each camera with the option of 16 channels of synchronised audio for maximum quality giving a total of 400 frames per second across all cameras. This represents a quantum leap from the current industry standard which can only offer between 25 and 100 frames per second across all cameras.
- This is 4 times what the industry standard can offer which means more incidents captured and more prosecutions won for the operator.
- The use of the solid state drive option allows the recorder to be used in any harsh environment situation.
- The DS8000 range will record evidential quality images onto the removable hard drive, whilst SIMULTANEOUSLY allowing live images to be streamed over a network for real time remote viewing.
FULL NETWORK CAPABILITIES
The recorders have full network capabilities to allow shared access in line with customer requirements. As well as the normal removable hard disk, the recorder can utilise wireless LAN technology which means that routine fleet health checks and footage downloads can be done quickly and without the need to visit individual vehicles.
MORE EFFICIENT
Using the video compression algorithm H.264 allows the DS8000 range to compress footage much more efficiently than the current industry standard of MJPEG.Smaller frame size means longer storage for operators and easier transfer over networks.
